Elizabeth Backus has been working in grants administration for 15 years, since moving from New Mexico to Eugene in 2004. After 9 years working with small business research grants for a private company, she joined the University of Oregon in 2013 as Business Manager for the Center on Brain Injury Research and Training. Since then, she has also worked as Business Manager for the Prevention Science Institute, and has been working with the Center for Translational Neuroscience since 2015. She holds a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Oregon, and is a devoted fan of the Ducks women's basketball team.
