Biography

Aarati works as a full-time research assistant at the SNAP lab, working on various projects with the technical assistance team. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Boston College in 2017 and was an undergraduate research assistant at the Infant and Child Cognition Lab (PI: Sara Cordes, PhD), focusing on children and their numerical cognition. Since then, she has worked on research concerning adult development and Autism Spectrum Disorders (PI: Michael L. Commons, PhD). Aarati’s research interests include the effects of early adversity, stress and trauma in children and adolescents from a developmental and clinical aspect.
