Leticia Hayes

Leticia received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Oregon in 2018 and has worked as an undergraduate research assistant in the Social Affective Neuroscience lab (PI: Elliot Berkman PhD), Developmental Social Neuroscience lab (PI: Jennifer Pfeifer, PhD), and the Stress Neurobiology and Prevention (SNAP) Lab (PI: Phil Fisher, PhD). Since graduating, Leticia works as a full-time research assistant for the Center for Translational Neuroscience and assists on multiple different projects in the SNAP lab. Leticia’s research interests intersect between the impact of early life stress in children on neurobiological mechanisms by using neuroimaging and electrophysiological techniques. She is also interested in studying post-partum depression and how maternal stress impacts neurobiological fetal development in infants.
