Andrea Imhof

Andrea is a first-year doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology program at the University of Oregon, under the mentorship of Dr. Phil Fisher. Her primary research interests focus on understanding language development in the context of early life adversity. As a part of her work in the Stress Neurobiology and Prevention (SNAP) Lab, Andrea is exploring how parent-child interactions influence key language pathways in the brain. She hopes to further this work in the context of early intervention, using the FIND video-coaching framework to investigate how “serve-and-return” interactions influence key milestones in language development.
